Cruise ship MV Queen Elizabeth made a close pass to the mighty carrier HMS Queen Elizabeth so that ship's company and cruise passengers alike could take a close look at each other.

When two Queens met first article

Both ships saluted each other with a blast of their horns. When the ships met HMS QUEEN ELIZABETH was en route to the Cromarty Firth Port in Invergordon for her planned stop to store and refuel.

As the carrier arrived she was also given a water cannon salute by Tug Strathdee.
